The Escarpment Resort is conveniently located on Mount Tamborine only 30 minutes drive from Surfers Paradise and approximately 60 minutes from Brisbane. Take the time to explore the quaint community of Mount Tamborine where you can go wine tasting, cheese tasting, fudge tasting, take bush walks, go hand gliding, play golf, visit the distillery and relax at local cafes.

Getting There

The Escarpment is located at the southern end of the renowned Mount Tamborine area on a pristine, tranquil, heritage mountain property just 30 minutes from Surfers Paradise and 60 minutes from the Queensland capital city of Brisbane.
Brisbane Airport – approximately 60 minutes by motorway. Follow Pacific Highway 1 south to Oxenford. Take exit 57 just past DreamWorld and follow the signs to Mount Tamborine on the Tamborine-Oxenford Road. At the top of the mountain you will reach a round-a-bout at the start of Gallery Walk with a fig tree in the middle of it. Turn right at this round-a-bout, travel past the shops to another round-a-bout at the end of Gallery Walk and continue straight across onto Long Road. Travel to the end of Long Rd and turn right into Lahey Road which is signposted towards Gold Coast & Canungra. At the end of Lahey Rd, turn left at the T-intersection and continue on Main Western Road which will turn into Bartle Road and then turn into Alpine Terrace. Our property is located at #123 Alpine Terrace adjacent to the historic St. Bernards Hotel just by the round-a-bout.
Coolangatta Airport - approximately 45 minutes by motorway. Follow Pacific Highway 1 north to Nerang. Take exit labeled 'Mountain Resorts / Beaudesert Road' from Nerang which leads onto the Beaudesert-Nerang Road. Take the right hand turn signposted to Mount Tamborine onto Henry Roberts Drive. Follow this road up the steep hill, past the golf club until you come to a T-junction at the corner of Siganto Street and Prospect Street. Turn right, and the property is located at the first round-about. We are number 123 Alpine Terrace.

Children / Extra Guests

Parents are welcome to bring a child aged up to 5 years provided they bring their own bedding.

Rediscover romance in our beautiful split level villa suites with high wooden ceilings and elegant appointings. The sunken lounge room features an open wood fireplace, TV, DVD player and surround sound. Stay in and cook in the granite kitchenette or enjoy the complimentary breakfast in the Escarpment dining room. The suites are spacious and comfortable and open onto their own terrace with outdoor setting so you can admire the mountain and garden outlook. Luxurious amenities abound with a comfortable four poster bed with sumptuous linen and a large double spa bath, complete with bubble bath and robes in the bathroom.

Bedding configuration is 1 King Four Poster bed. Maximum occupancy is 2 guests.
