I thought the property was disappointing. Our room was like a wind tunnel with wind coming through the window frames etc. I also thought the facilities such as spa and indoor pool were overloaded and hence not clean possibly because of not coping with the numbers utilising these. The games room was lacking maintenance and generally dirty.

While we had a great holiday we were disappointed with a couple of things. We were quoted for 8 people staying- when we arrived we were asked to pay extra for the sofa bed- but we had already been quoted for 8 people. The sofa bed was not able to be slept in so 2 people had to sleep on the lounge. We never had enough linen and when asked it took over 1 hour to received more this happened twice where we requested an item and 1hour pasted and we had to request it again only to be told the first request was not received. A number of times we would go to have showers and there was never enough towels. There is nothing worse than getting out of the shower and there are not enought towels to go around. Very embarrassing on check out to again be asked to pay $200and something for the use of the sofa bed only to have to explain again re our quote and the bad condition of the sofa bed. We were then asked for a copy of the quote which another member of our group had and they had already left for home. we were then asked to go to the second floor were the internet service was so as we can get a copy of the quote. In the meantime the cars are packed and our children are waiting. This made us feel very unpleasant. What a disapointing way to end a holiday.

Liked: views and location
Disliked: dirty lounge suite and there appeared to be blood stain on the bedhead in the main bedroom

Our second stay was quite disappointing! First stayed in hotel when it was 6 months old which was quite nice. Hotel looked worn and shabby after only a year later. Not kept to 5 star standards. Will not stay there a third time.

We booked our holiday about 1 week before we stayed there. We probably would have preferred a 2 bedroom apartment but there were none available. Having said that, we all really enjoyed our stay - it was great.

Observation deck experience was fantastic.
The electronic door opening system was under repair and it is quite scary when you are in a high rise building and they have to issue emergency door openers. Building is very high tech and sterile not warm and fuzzy.

Very dissappointed with the level of service with the hotel, we were out most days with the room being cleaned at 4 and 5pm....We had friends come over at 4.30pm one afternoon with the beds being made at 5.15pm.....Not good enough for this type of venue....

Was pretty disappointed overall. I only had modest expectations too. Some staff were great. Others not so much. Our shower flooded our room as shower door was faulty. Spent an hour of our time getting that cleaned up properly. I specifically asked for a queen size bed, was given 2 singles zipped up together. I was recently in a car accident and stressed I needed a good bed. No one wanted to help us. I liked how the windows opened in our room. The pool is nice, but you can\'t bring the drinks from the bar into the pool area, BUT you can bring your own booze to the pool area? It was inconvenient and sounded rather asenine. Our room did not have blinds on all the windows so we could not sleep in past 7am as the light would wake us up. For the money we spent, I expected a lot more. In hindsight, we would have rather have stayed elsewhere as the hotel did not live up to expectations. And when we voiced our problems, nothing was done to appease or help us. The hotel looks like a palace, but felt like a Motel6.

Liked: some of the staff.
Disliked: our room flooded.

A modern marvel of a building, was great staying at the worlds tallest resident building.
Stayed in 2 bedroom apartment on the 35th floor...great views but wish it was an open balcony instead of an enclosed one, neverless it was still breezy enough.
Observation deck is a must to see the whole Gold Coast and all the way to Brisbane.
The pool area was fantastic as my kids had a variety of pools to pick from and even a little beach area for them to dig up the sand.

Huge, design-oriented apartments in Australia's tallest residential tower. We were on the 25th floor and were only part of the way up. Proper size lounge, dining area, utility room, study, large bathroom and big, comfy bedroom. Big balcony area too.
The apartment was super clean (it was if we were the first ever guests) and reception were very helpful, although a little understaffed.

We stayed at Q1 for 4 nights lvl 20 ocean views. Our room was near the rubbish shute and whenever you moved from the room to the lift the smell was not pleasant. The view of the ocean was pretty good despite not being higher up but the windows could definitely do with a clean. The apartment was pretty roomy and the kitchen seemed ok but we ended up eating out every night anyway. Pools were nice.
